Inca Trail Machu Picchu 2D/1N

Day 1: Cusco – Km. 104 – Wiñaywayna – Aguas Calientes

We start with the pick up at your respective hotel at 04:00 am, to go in a tourist car to the town of Ollantaytambo with an approximate travel time of 2 hours, place where we will board our train that will take us to Km. 104 where we will start our walk, after making our registration in the control we will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2100 masl), then we will continue our tour for 4 hours approx. until we reach Wiñayhuayna (2600 masl), here we will have a rest to taste our lunch (box lunch), then continue for 2 hours until we reach Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol, where we will have the first views of the Waynapicchu mountain and the Inca city, we continue about 40 minutes and we arrive at Machupicchu where we will take the traditional photo. Then we will board the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to go to our hotel and our dinner respectively.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco

Very early we will start our hike to go to Machupicchu which will take 1 hour and a half of ascent approx. The guided tour will last approximately 2 hours. where we will visit important places like the temple of the Sun, the House of the Inca among others; Then they will have the free time to continue the visit on their own. Then they will go back to the town of Aguas Calientes to take their train back to Ollantaytambo and then take a tourist car to the city of Cusco.

• Bring a valid original passport.
• Bring a light backpack to carry water in the sport bottle, snacks, medications if needed, etc.
• Carry domestic cash and currency in small denominations (Peruvian soles).
• Wear waterproof clothing during the rainy season (between November to March).
• Wear waterproof poncho.
• Wear trekking shoes.
• Bring insect repellent.
• Bring a water bottle to transport your drinks.
• Wear sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat for sunny days.

• If you cancel the excursion due to bad weather conditions, you will be offered another visit date according to the availability or partial reimbursement of the amount paid according to the penalties established by the railway and transport companies.
